Visited here last week. Burger was warm, wasn't really hot. Nothing really to rave about. Onion rings were over cooked and a bit too crispy. Staff was pleasant. Might give it another show if I'm up around that part of town again.

I couldn't disagree more- my burger was hot and fresh. The bacon was great, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and cool. Generous portion of fries as well. Friendly service and very clean. Is it the BEST burger in OKC? No. But, for a good burger in the Putnam City area, this'll be hard to beat v

I've been here many times for lunch and I have to say the food is always good and the place is always packed. The service can't be beat, it's clean, and the price is right. I've read some of the other reviews and I can't believe some of the criticism. I almost want to call flaming. It's not gourmet, it's a solid burger joint that has some gourmet flair. In fact, I'm waiting on my mushroom and Swiss burger now!

Both William and Amanda's descriptions were exactly my experience. Even if food is terrible I eat all of it; I am sure you've heard of this type of person. I did not finish this order; I actually went to the bathroom to puke it up; it was that bad. I ordered a 1/2Lb w/cheese lettuce tomato mayo ketchup and grilled onions, and a side of fries. The burger was so salty; I thought it was the three Tbsp of mayo that I scraped off, but it was still salty after. I had to add more ketchup; it was barely on the bottom patty. They advertise their meat to be fresh, but the texture of the meat is arguably of a frozen patty. The french fries were frozen out of a bag terrible. The girl running the register explained everything kindly and knew the menu, so she gets a good rating.

I tend to be generous with my stars and rave reviews, not gonna lie. This time around, I wanted, reeeeaaalllllyyyyy wanted, to give a generous 4 stars. Instead, I gave three honest stars. Another reviewer asked "Is this the best burger in OKC? No." I concur. The best?? No. Really tasty, and a decent value? YUP!! HUGE burgers, loaded with toppings (if you so desire) and cooked to order. No question, the burgers are tasty, the place is clean and simple, and the staff was very friendly. Brent, the owner is a decent fella, and seems to genuinely care about his customers and business. My main "gripes"- The napkins. Seriously. Juicy, messy, tasty, hands-on burger experience, and teeeeny tiny flimsy napkins that are basically good for one swipe across your ketchup slathered face. Better napkins are a must. The buns. This is actually a 50/50 split with me and my family. The buns are crusty on the outside, kinda flattened, but delicious. I loved them. My wife was not a fan- she'd prefer a softer, less toasted bun. The kids were split as well. The tables. We sat in a booth, four of us, and while the seats were comfy, we were fighting for space on the tiny table top. The onion rings. They were AWESOME!!! So, what's my gripe about them? The price. I know it's more labor intensive, but dang, the rings were high compared to everything else. Having said that, I also have to say they are TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! Hands down the best rings I've ever had, since Time-Out For Burgers closed down. My main praises- Variety. They offered some pretty cool burger combinations- the daily special was a breakfast burger, complete with egg and hashbrowns. There's an italian burger, mexican burger, and then the usual fare with bacon, cheddar, etc. I had the "Especial" with bacon, Mozzarella, and added grilled mushrooms. Yummo. The fries. Fresh cut, shoestring, cooked PERFECTLY! The onion rings. Did I mention they were AWESOME!?!?!!? Truly, truly the best rings I've had in a very long time. To the negative reviewers- go back and give it another shot. The new owners are dedicated to making it better and better, and will listen to your concerns and suggestions. Best burger? Eh. Good enough to recommend and go back again? YOU BETCHA!!

Well. We tried it. And now I don't have to have it again. The service was good and the girl at the counter was friendly. The food however was ok at best. The 5.99 burger was composed of a nice soft bun a 1/3 lb patty guacamole and jalapeños. In theory it should be awesome. The meat was obviously a once frozen patty and the guacamole was bland. I paired that with the zesty wedges which I enjoyed much more than the burger. My friend had the mushroom swiss burger. The burger had more pickles on it than mushrooms. And paired that with the cheddar fries and the only thing he had to say was it's sad when the side dish outshines the main dish. Will I go back? No.

Average at best, very nice owner, just not worth it. I have yet to find a place I really truly like in OKC, maybe it's my snobby Southern California in me.

So the first time I came here - the food was incredible! The burgers were hot and juicy and absolutely perfect. We went in yesterday and took the parents - and I was so embarrassed about taking them there. All of the tables were dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned off. There were 4 people - 3 people got the exact same thing and then Dad got the special which was supposed to be the ribeye burger. 3 burgers came out with fried mushrooms - and none of us ordered mushrooms - the ribeye burger came out - and it was just a regular burger - no ribeye. The burgers came back out that were the "cheddar and bacon" burgers and there was so little cheese on it - you couldn't really even tell there was cheese on it, The burger meat was cold and you could tell it was old - maybe like they just threw it in the microwave to heat it. So basically - the only thing right about our order were the fries. The cook is very creepy and kept staring inappropriately. So try and avoid sitting by the kitchen. Not impressed. I'm not sure if I'll be back.

I agree with Willam S. - I've tried it and now I don't have to have it again. I made the mistake of trying the chili. I know, it wasn't a smart choice for a burger joint and I didn't expect much, but even with low expectations I was extremely disappointed. First, it was less than warm, so I'm left to assume it was pulled from the fridge/freezer and microwaved to the point of melting the grease, but not long enough to produce a warmth capable of melting the cheese they sprinkled on top. I wish I could say that it would have been better if it was hot, but the flavor was overpowered by what seemed to be ketchup. Maybe it's a more culturally traditional recipe that this Oklahoman has never encountered. Within 10 bites I had to accept my poor menu choice and call it quits. I'm not being dramatic when I say that the copious amount of grease on the surface congealed while I was waiting for my companions to finish their, still very pink inside, burgers. However, after trying the chili, my friends bacon cheese burger wasn't bad, but it didn't have anything that made it special. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly, but there is improvement needed in the food. My hope is that they are still working out kinks from recently opening, but I will leave that for future reviewers to confirm, because I will not be going back. I wish them luck and hope that you have a better experience than me.

This place is clean ! Because the food is so bad people won't come back so they have nothing to do but clean all day. Also beware of good reviews on Yelp as well as Urban Spoon, they may be left by management . I ate here over a month ago and the food was so bad it still makes me mad I spent hard earned money at this place.
